Operational Risk Associate - Investment Banking - 2+ years
Location - Glasgow 2/3 days a week commutable from surrounding areas - (inc Edinburgh etc)

Role Description
Capco is hiring within Operational Risk to help support and grow a brand new Capco client.
This requires excellent attention to detail and analytical skills and will be attractive to individuals who thrive in high paced, and deadline driven environments.
- Review of Operational Risk Events originating in Front Office/Corporate areas, providing challenge over root cause/control failures + required control enhancements
- Production/review of Operational Risk MI for periodic Front Office/Corporate meetings & Legal Entity Committees
- Attendance/key minute taking for Operational Risk meetings with Front Office/Corporate areas
- Oversight of numerous Operational Risk processes, e.g. Key Risk Indicator submissions & actions closure
- Coordination of internal Operational Risk meetings & tracking of followups
- Involvement in Operational Risk led projects as required
Full and detailed training will be provided.
Skills and Experience
Experienced Hires:
- Proven and demonstrated experience in an Investment Bank working in a trading environment.
- Experience in either Risk & Control or Operational Risk
- Product experience or regulatory knowledge is beneficial
