About Our Client:


Our client based in Woking, Surrey are a highly successful business that have experienced impressive growth and are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join the team.

Hybrid working offered two days in the office and three days working from home

As the Accounts Payable Assistant based from Woking, Surrey you will be responsible for:

  • Daily processing of supplier invoices onto Sage
  • Weekly processing of employee expenses for payments
  • Preparation of supplier invoices for payments
  • Maintaining Email Inbox responding to queries
  • Allocation of supplier payments on Sage
  • Monthly processing of company credit card transactions
  • Maintenance of supplier account details
  • Reconciliation of Direct debits accounts to suppliers' ledgers to obtain any missing invoices
  • Monthly reconciliation of individual supplier accounts
  • Prepare end of month late invoices accrual journal

The Successful Applicant:


  • You will have experience working in Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger
  • Good Excel skills
  • Previous experience in Sage 200 is desirable but it's not essential
  • Strong communication skills
  • We are seeking someone who is selfmotivated and be willing to learn and develop.
  • You can be studying for an Accounting qualification but its not essential

Salary £25,000 - £27,500
