A Sussex-based PR agency known for its work in design and innovation is searching for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join its team.

This boutique PR agency represents clients that sit at the intersection of tech & design - think creative agencies, design studios and innovators out of Silicon Valley.

They've been around for over 10 years and today, they're a 20-strong team of media experts,from former journalists, comms strategists and design PR insiders.

Here, progression is entirely merit-based and every employee has a voice.

This Senior Account Manager role will be working on an portfolio of some exciting US-based clients operating in the tech innovation and brand design space.

About the Senior Account Manager role

This Senior Account Manager role will largely be focused on client servicing rather than media relations so strong account management project management skills are required.

On any given day you will be:

Developing PR plans & strategies for clients in collaboration with your SAD
Leading on call client comms including meetings, daytoday communications and client calls
Ensuring that work is delivered both on time and to a high standard
Team management, encouragement and support
Drafting content for client and owned channels
Participating in new business including contributing to proposals an attending pitch presentation

The ideal Senior Account Manager

Currently at Account Manager level OR Senior Account Manager looking for a step up
Demonstrable experience leading on accounts in your current role
Must come from an agency background or have had some agency experience
An interest in creative, marketing and brand design would be advantageous
Has examples of delivering strong media coverage (ideally feature coverage)
A voice of authority that clients will respect and value
Kind, empathetic, genuine and friendly culture is important here so is personality fit

What the Senior Account Manager gets in return

Salary up circa 46,000 depending on experience
