About our client
We are working with a leading independent investment bank that is looking to add an Analyst to the secondary advisory side of its private capital advisory team.
What the job involves
As an Analyst in the team, you can expect to have responsibilities across the transaction process: from origination and execution through to project management and client relationship maintenance and development.
- Drafting and coordinating the preparation of pitch presentations, information memoranda and other marketing materials
- Taking the lead on deal origination through market analyses
- Performing a key role in executing and projectmanaging client mandates
- Proactively supporting the team's MD and Principals
- Creating and coordinating the creation of financial models and business valuations
- Conducting industry and companyspecific due diligence related to transactions
- Attending client meetings
Who we are looking for:
- Enthusiasm to develop a career in the private equity secondary market
- Experience in scoping and executing secondary transactions is advantageous
- Exceptional academic credentials
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFA or ACA) is advantageous
- A strong work ethic and the ability to maintain high standards on all tasks
- A keen eye for detail, strong numerical ability and logical reasoning
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly
- Demonstrable commercial awareness and a real interest in secondary transactions
