Compliance Manager - Insurance

My client is a General Insurance business, who are based in the UK, and support a UK and International clientele by offering a range of Personal and Commercial Insurance products.

Due to recent growth, they are looking to hire a Compliance Manger to assist the Head of Compliance in the development and maintenance of the regulatory Compliance Framework and wider regulatory compliance functions.

A very broad role that will see youworking closely with senior business heads across the business and playing an integral part in the delivery of a robust regulatory Compliance Framework.

This position will be based in London.

You will be expected to work in the office for 3 days per week,the remainder at home.

The following summarises the main responsibilities of this role:

To represent the Second Line of Defence, assisting with the monitoring and implementation of an effective Compliance Framework.
Liaising with Business Heads to assist with the construction and delivery of the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan and delivery of compliance policies and procedures across the business.
Providing regulatory advice to the first Line of Defence
Provide guidance and support on SMCR and Code of Conduct policies
Help to design and structure new products, services and operational procedures
