Are you a qualified Anaplan Model Builder with a keen analytical eye? Do you have strong stakeholder engagement, consultancy, and project management skills? If so, we would love to hear from you.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our new Anaplan centre of excellence and help shape our transformation.

In this role you will lead the design and implementation of Anaplan models, working closely with stakeholders from a range of business functions.

The scope will include both financial and operational areas.

It will range from conversion of existing processes to Anaplan through to entirely new designs, so creativity is key, along with a willingness to learn about the business.

You will support model users, provide training and be a champion for change, promoting the adoption of new technology and improved ways of working.

This is a Hybrid Working Role with travel to our Central London office when required.

About the role

Working with stakeholders from around the business, you will scope and build Anaplan models for a variety of business requirements.

You will maintain a high level of modelling standards, ensuring all work adheres to best practice, governance, and connectivity requirements to create a robust and future-proof solution.

For new model designs (as opposed to model conversions), you will develop creative, practical, and timely solutions, drawing on support from the Project Modelling team where required.

Working independently on modelling and ticket resolution, you will plan and manage your own workload with prioritisation support from the Anaplan team lead and the governance group.

You'll resolve tickets for existing Anaplan models in a timely manner and deliver excellent customer service to Anaplan users, whilst supporting with quality assurance of other's models, and ensuring your work has the appropriate assurances before release.

You will continually expand your own knowledge of Royal Mail pipeline and business functions to enhance model design ability, whilst keeping up to date with new Anaplan functionality and training opportunities.

About You
To truly excel in this role, you'll possess, and be able to evidence, the skills and experience listed below:

Qualified L2 Anaplan Model Builder
Excellent stakeholder engagement, consultancy and project management skills
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to think both creatively and analytically
An ability to rapidly understand and assimilate the operational activity of a large business
A proven track record of delivering modelling solutions
Have a change champion mentality to land new ways of working

Desirable

Excellent knowledge of Excel and VBA macros (for understanding models to be converted)
Knowledge of financial planning and forecasting
