Description

Main responsibilities within the Application Support Analyst position include:

  • Technical client onboarding and FIX certifications
  • Active monitoring of platforms & the ticketing system
  • Analyse of FIX Logs for Market Data and Trading platforms
  • Write, review and update of FIX Specs
  • Reference data maintenance
  • Handling of client queries resulting from day to day trading (Brokers & External clients)
  • Client data updates (Instruments / Accounts)
  • Project work enhancements / changes to trading platforms
  • End of day reporting
  • Updating documentation / knowledge base
  • Due to the nature of the role you may be required to work extended hours at short notice to complete the work required to meet the business needs
  • May be required to be oncall or to work occasional weekends

Key skills, experience and competencies required to be successful in this role:


Required:


  • Strong Understanding / knowledge /experience of FIX protocol (5 years +)
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written

Desirable / Advantageous

  • Use of a ticketing system for incident, service and change management beneficial
  • Excel / VBA Skills


  • Financial product knowledge

  • Bonds, IRS, FX
