Description
Main responsibilities within the Application Support Analyst position include:
- Technical client onboarding and FIX certifications
- Active monitoring of platforms & the ticketing system
- Analyse of FIX Logs for Market Data and Trading platforms
- Write, review and update of FIX Specs
- Reference data maintenance
- Handling of client queries resulting from day to day trading (Brokers & External clients)
- Client data updates (Instruments / Accounts)
- Project work enhancements / changes to trading platforms
- End of day reporting
- Updating documentation / knowledge base
- Due to the nature of the role you may be required to work extended hours at short notice to complete the work required to meet the business needs
- May be required to be oncall or to work occasional weekends
Key skills, experience and competencies required to be successful in this role:
Required:
- Strong Understanding / knowledge /experience of FIX protocol (5 years +)
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
Desirable / Advantageous
- Use of a ticketing system for incident, service and change management beneficial
- Excel / VBA Skills
- Financial product knowledge
- Bonds, IRS, FX
