circa £29,000 to £35,000 per annum

Permanent on KSS AHSN Terms


Base:
KSS AHSNs primary place of business is The Beehive, located in Gatwick/Crawley, West Sussex. We have further satellite / hot-desking arrangements at sites located in Guildford and Brighton. Contractually, your normal place of work will be KSS AHSNs primary place of business.

KSS AHSN are seeking to appoint an
Innovation Coordinator to join our team to support the delivery of KSS AHSN's engagement with health technology companies and innovators and their networks across all technology sectors (digital, medical technology, diagnostics and pharmaceutical).


About KSS AHSN:


Kent Surrey Sussex AHSN (KSS AHSN) is the AHSN covering a geography which encompasses 4.7 million people within the Southeast of England.

Our geography includes a large coastline, and coastal population; with affluence and poverty; with health and care challenges experienced by a growing elderly population, by international migrants, and by significant communities whose voices historically have not been heard.

It's an exciting time to join our organisation as we look to raise awareness of our work to address health inequalities, tackle net zero and spread innovation in the NHS.


KSS AHSN is commissioned by the Office for Life Sciences (OLS) and NHS England to deliver programmes of support to accelerate the creation and adoption of health innovations, delivering improved outcomes for the population and generating economic growth, regionally and nationally with supporting companies/innovators to scale and create new jobs and investment.


Our team works across our commissioned programmes to identify opportunities to build partnerships with the commercial sector and work in collaboration with our wider team to provide advice on commercialisation, market access, value proposition, business growth and real-world validation.


About you and the role:


This is an exceptionally busy and fast-paced role that will require a proactive individual who is highly skilled in information gathering, problem-solving, event management, writing for different audiences, and also experienced in providing excellent support and project coordination.


You will utilise your exemplary project planning, stakeholder management and communication skills to work seamlessly with both external and internal stakeholders.

You will play a fundamental role in ensuring the success of the team's collective programme delivery objectives.


Key responsibilities:


  • Maintaining trackers of engagement regarding different technologies and innovations by organisation and individual.
  • Coordinating the production of and input to monthly informal and quarterly formal reports and to develop processes to minimise the time required to update these.
  • Liaising with sources of technology and innovation, for example NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA) Fellows and maintain an information database for innovations.
  • Coordinating communications with all innovation and technology stakeholders and acting as first point of contact for many new enquiries regarding the programme and its workstreams.
  • Oversight of programme budgets, processing expenditures and liaising between the programme team and management teams.
