Description

Our client is a growing £900m operation head-quartered in Reading. Due to continued success they seek to hire a Commercial Accountant.

This role aligns with the supply chain for the group and will work closely with the Commercial Manager liaising with bothsuppliers and Purchasing Managers to maximize Commercial Opportunities as well as developing internal reporting.

Responsibilities:

Have an excellent working knowledge of the supplier contract terms to maximize collectability of income streams
Complete the provision of monthly management information to all companies. Preparation of periodic billing and supporting information to our suppliers.
Preparation of internal financial reporting and analysis for existing stakeholders highlighting risks and opportunities
Assist in improving financial controls within the function, ensuring compliance with group accounting policies
Reconcile and manage the supply chain balance sheet
Working alongside Commercial Manager to produce accurate analysis in income variances to forecast/ budget
Use data visualization tools to enable visibility for key stakeholders across the business (who, what, when, where, why)
Play an active role in the continued development of existing supply chain financial processes, systems and reporting tools to improve accuracy and remove risk

A salary of £35,000-£38,000 is on offer with study support and benefits.
