Looking for a challenging yet rewarding job? Sussex Estates and Facilities (SEF) is hiring for the position of Porter/Handyperson at the University of Sussex.

As a Porter/Handyperson, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to students, visitors and colleagues, carrying out maintenance tasks, and offering assistance to our residents and visitors.

As a Porter/Handyperson, your main duties will include providing general maintenance and portering services, providing janitorial and cleaning services in the residences, carrying out daily litter picking and external cleaning, and participating in compliance with the requirements of Health & Safety statutes, regulations, guidance, and best practice.

You will also be responsible for carrying out routine pre-planned maintenance test and compliance activities.
