We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Clerk of Works role in supporting the work of the busy Investment Team which has become available.

This role is pivotal in working closely with the Project Leaders and contractors to ensure that work is completed efficiently, safely and to a good standard within our customer's homes.


Within this vital role, you will be required to inspect, monitor, and record the progress as well as carry out defect surveys and handovers and attend final inspections to completed works.

You will be required to provide the Project Leaders with regular reports and updates of progress of the works on site as well as attending meetings as and when required.

The Clerk of Works will act as the first point of contact of liaison for customers and assist with both the communication with our customers and the collection of Customer Satisfaction Surveys during handovers as required.


Experience of providing a customer focussed service, demonstrating excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, you must be capable of actively listening and empathising with customers, sometimes in very challenging and complex situations.

Experience within a housing or construction related environment would be desirable.

You must be able to work well under pressure with an exemplary, positive attitude and the ability to solve problems creatively.

It is an essential requirement to the role that you have full driving licence.
