Description

This role is an exciting opportunity to be on the cutting edge of conservation and finance research, by developing guidance with potential to be widely used by corporations and the finance sector.

The postholder will be joining the Interdisciplinary Centre for Conservation Science (ICCS) in the Department of Biology, and the Sustainable Food Solutions programme in the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment.

ICCS is a large interdisciplinary research group that uses quantitative and qualitative evidence to support biodiversity and conservation decision-making.

The Sustainable Food Solutions programme is a research group of ~10 researchers, that collectively investigates how to transform food systems towards more sustainable outcomes.

We anticipate this posting will be the beginning of a larger Oxford Martin Programme on Nexus Approaches to Biodiversity Evaluation.

The post is 2 years fixed term.
