Pure are recruiting for a Head of Finance on behalf of a prestigious education institution based in the heart of Cambridge.

This role will manage a team of 7 within finance and will be responsible for the day to day running of the finance function whilst supporting the management team in strategic planning and financial modelling, a shorter working week and hybrid working is offeredwithin this role.

The main duties are as follows

  • Supporting with the production of the statutory accounts
  • Liaise with the external auditors and prepare for the audit process
  • Prepare and submit the VAT return
  • Manage the payroll and pension process
  • Oversee the production of the monthly management accounts
  • Oversee the annual budget preparation process
  • Carry out appraisals, reviews and training for all team members
  • Adhoc project work as required.
