Role Purpose


The partner marketing manager for GitLab will be responsible for developing and executing product marketing strategies that drive growth and adoption of Eficode's services and solutions with GitLab's products.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and customer success, to ensure that GitLab's product offerings are effectively positioned and communicated to target audiences.


Key Role Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with the Gitlab team to gather and analyze market and customer insights that will influence the marketing strategy.
  • Plan compelling product marketing content, including presentations, whitepapers, webinars, and other sales collateral for the content team to create.
  • Work with sales to develop sales enablement materials and training programs to help them sell Eficode's GitLab products effectively.
  • Gather customer feedback and market research to gain insight and support definition of future product features, pain points, and why buy messaging.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust product marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the partner (GitLab) to align marketing goals and objectives with Eficode.
  • Negotiate Market Development Funds (MDF) and create cobranded marketing materials and programs with the partner.
  • Manage,Track and analyze the success of marketing campaigns.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and changes in partner's landscape, focus, and products.
  • Ensure that tracking of marketing activities and business remains accurate
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the partner(s)
  • Develop marketing plans and campaigns with field and content marketing teams.
  • Coordinate demand generation from each member of the GitLab team, aligning with the DemGen plan to ensure the right people are creating the right posts, and ensure the team is using social media consistently.
