  • GCSE English and Maths or equivalent

Desirable criteria:


  • Formal qualification in relevant area e.g. City and Guilds/NVQ/ Exercise Instruction for Older People

Experience:


Essential criteria:


  • Significant relevant experience
  • Competent of working in a therapy setting
  • Experience within an acute hospital / healthcare environment

Desirable criteria:


  • Previous experience of supervising / teaching individuals staff
  • Experience in using aids and adaptations

Skills and aptitudes:

  • Has good observational skills
  • Can teach practical skills
  • Is able to document written and verbal information in a clear and logical manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with patients, family and colleagues
