As Contract Supervisor, you will ensure the compliant delivery of the services offered by the company for North East Scotland College and support the Contract Manager with security officer and janitor welfare, driving continuous improvement and ultimately customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities_**_

  • As directed by the Contract Manager, support him/her to deliver exceptional service with the aim of making us the supplier of choice
  • Deputise for the Contract Manager
  • Lead, motivate, provide direction and performance manage the security and janitorial staff across the NESCol portfolio to ensure the achievement of targets.
  • Undertake agreed daily / weekly tasks as directed by the Contract Manager, Area Support Manager or Area Manager
  • Support the Contract Manager in assisting filling gaps in roster due to short notice blow outs /changes
  • Ensure 100% compliance in QIR (Quality Inspection Report) process as directed by the Contract Manager
  • Undertake security officer and janitor appraisals for the portfolio in alignment with the Contract Manager
  • Ensure all site training records are complete and up to date and deliver induction / refresher training as required

Professional and personal competencies/qualifications_**_

  • Good general level of education
  • 5 years + experience working in the Security Operations or associated industry
  • PC literate understanding of how to use the technology as a tool, familiar with Word & Outlook as a minimum
  • Good command of the English language in spoken and written form
  • Good communication skills
  • Good team player and leader
  • Able to command credibility and be able to influence
  • Strong HR knowledge and experience
