Our established client, a local engineering company, are currently seeking a Trainee Hydraulic Fitter to join their team. The individual will develop their knowledge for installation, maintenance and repairs related to hydraulic equipment and components.

LOCATION:
Wotton under Edge


START DATE:
as soon as possible


PAY:
£10.50 per hour


PERMANENT

DAILY TIMES:
Monday-Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am-1pm


Yate Office:
Trainee Hydraulic Fitter

Responsibilities

  • Building and testing hydraulic rams (2T to 10T)
  • Building and testing of power packs
  • Servicing hydraulic pumps, rams, power packs and jacking beams
  • End of line testing, diagnosing, checking and setting mechanical systems
  • Use of hand tools
  • Ensure all hydraulic systems and equipment comply with safety regulations and standards
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs and inspections

Personal Profile

  • Have basic hydraulic knowledge
  • Experience within Engineering and hydraulics would be advantageous
  • Ability to weld is beneficial but not essential
  • Be adaptable and able to work in other areas
  • Good general knowledge of engineering processes
  • Due to location access to transport is preferred
