We are currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant vacancy at a Top 25 accountancy firm based in Southwark in Central London.

The firm are looking to bring on a new Senior Accountant to join their team. Your main responsibility will be to manage a portfolio of around 500 personal tax/sole trader clients. You will also work on limited company clients providing statutory accounts,corporation tax, and VAT.


Salary:
£30,000 - £45,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)


Responsibilities:


  • Personal tax for sole traders and landlord clients
  • VAT returns for sole traders and limited companies
  • Statutory accounts production
  • Corporation tax returns
  • Delegating work to outsourcing team
  • Training of junior staff
  • Liaising with clients and answering queries

Requirements:


  • AAT/ATT/ACCA qualified
  • Experience using Xero, QuickBooks, and TaxCalc
  • Keen to get involved with personal tax work
  • At least 2 years experience working in an accountancy firm
