Category Manager - Market Data Services
12 months (FTC)
Summary:
My client is a large multinational company in the Financial services sector focusing on innovation and transformation.
Their primary focus is to look for people who can contribute to their great working culture of growth, agility,diversity, and inclusion.
The role will be a 12 months contract role managing market data services (MDS) category with commercial and compliance knowledge of trading brokers and delivery vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies to ensure use case compliance with market data contracts
- Work with business stakeholders to develop opportunities for cost efficient use of market data
- Develop sourcing strategies and cost savings for market data vendors
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and key suppliers
- Strong in market analysis to challenge business requirement through market trends
- Ability to bring transformation innovation both within Finance and the external environments
- Focus and driven by sustainability changed
- Work closely across supply chain including regional procurement, vendor management
- Responsible in managing vendor deals to achieve for P&L savings
- Ensuring that the Procurement Policy is followed and Indication of competitive tendering through correct methods
What you need to succeed:
- CIPS Level 4 preferred
- Having a broad mindset with high agility work ethics
- People skills with the ability to motivate and influence others with strong negotiation skills
- Understanding on Market Data and regulatory requirements as well as knowledge in vendors, licensing, product offerings
- Able to manage stakeholders with strong communication/interpersonal skills with building key relationships with suppliers
- Expert commercial and technical knowledge of consolidated vendor realtime data feeds (e.g. B-Pipe, Refinitiv)
- Deep knowledge of intersection with technology, consumption, entitlement control and distribution
- Strong knowledge in 3rd party technologies available to improve usage insights or automate tasks such as cost allocation management
- Strong experience in Market Data and third party risk domain and analytical in solving complex issues
