Purpose:


The Role:


  • To provide support to the Senior Executive Assistant including preseason Tour and holiday cover
  • Working closely with Operations regarding merchandise and gifting
  • Task and meeting prioritisation for the Senior Executive
  • Looking after ad hoc general requests from other team members
  • Understanding club and office protocols and delivering requirements to a high standard
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • General admin to include expenses
  • Raising purchase orders and management of invoices
  • Ad hoc errands and runner duties on and offsite
  • International Travel Coordination for personal and business: including administration and booking of international travel and other logístical arrangements
  • Booking hotel and restaurant bookings and any ad hoc coordination

  • Well presented; appropriate to represent the face of Manchester United
  • Trustworthy with integrity; capable of being privy to extremely confidential information without disclosure
  • A natural aptitude for logístical planning and problem solving in the event of issues
  • Exceptional attention to detail in all areas
  • Flexible approach to working; both approach and hours
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Previous project delivery experience
  • Ability to own responsibilities without supervision
  • Capable of performing well under time pressure
  • Ability to streamline work and prioritise
  • Willingness to work hard and be flexible working around different time zones
  • Outstanding communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Exemplary people skills; able to build relationships across a broad range of seniorities through to board level
  • Ability to proactively improve processes
  • A team player; capable of blending specific personal responsibilities with lending support to the Senior Executive Assistant and Owner Logistics Executive
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Strong grasp of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel, with an efficient and concise approach to saving shared information for the team
  • Independent and innovative thinker
  • Motivated and energetic
  • Conscientious with critical deadlines and able to deal with highly pressurised situations

Hours of Work
The employee is required to work 40 hours per week. Hours of work should be planned in accordance with the demands of the business. However, the nature of the role means that unusual hours are to be expected.
