Training Specialist - Health & Safety

37 Hours per week

Salary £34,309 - £36,346.65


Norse Group have a fantastic opportunity for a
Training Specialist to join our Learning & Development Team working within Health & Safety to support with developing, delivering and maintaining effective compliance training and additional learning requirements across the division.


As Training Specialist, you will work closely with management to ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, policies & procedures, championing best practice through guiding and advising on effective training solutions.

Your day to day duties will include;

  • Supporting learners to ensure positive outcomes to upskill our employees' skills in their workplace
  • Providing information, advice and guidance to develop effective training solutions to support business needs
  • Together with the Quality & Compliance Training Manager, reviewing & evaluating effectiveness of training delivery, modifying approach as required
  • Leading on relevant projects, supporting with the design and development, creating effective solutions within set timeframes and to meet budgets
  • Significant experience in delivering training, ideally having worked in a similar role within the Health & Safety sector.
  • Hold a Teaching Qualification, or willing to work towards this alongside holding a qualification in Health and Safety (manual handling/COSHH)
  • Experience designing and delivering engaging training content
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong, working relationships with people across the business
  • Full UK Driving License to meet the travel requirements of the role
