Position:
Teaching Assistant

Location:
Oldham, Greater Manchester

Contract Type:
Full-time, Permanent

Start Date:

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with teachers to support the delivery of highquality lessons and activities.
Assist students with their learning, providing oneonone or small group support.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement.
Help to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe and orderly space for learning.
Provide additional support to children with special educational needs or learning difficulties.
Encourage the development of social and emotional skills through effective communication and relationship building.

Requirements:

Previous work experience with children, ideally within an educational setting.
A genuine passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young learners.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to the needs of individual students.
Basic knowledge of educational strategies and techniques.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
A commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
