Criminal Investigator Inside IR35

Contract Term: 12 Months

As a Criminal Investigator your main responsibilities would be:

  • Assisting with ongoing investigations.
  • Preparation of court cases & packs.
  • Training and mentoring new in recruits, specifically in the Policing Education Qualification Framework (PEQF).

You'll have relevant experience in:


  • Arresting, interviewing and charging under the Criminal Justice Scotland Act 201
  • Reporting cases to the Procurator Fiscal via Standard Prosecution Reports.
  • Building evidential cases, following relevant lines of enquiry, liaising with intelligence officers and analysts
  • Financial investigations & disclosure.
  • Mentoring new recruits.

You'll have the following Qualifications/ Skills:

  • Professionalising Investigation Programme Level 2 (PIP2) or achieved this via grandfather rights.
  • Active or recently lapsed SC clearance.
  • Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas._

Up to £294.00 per day
