Fox Morris are working with Southwark Council in relations to finding a
NRSWA Street Works Inspector to start work ASAP

Responsibilities

Our Street Works Team is responsible for the statutory coordination and management of street works carried out by the council as highway authority and statutory undertakers on the public highway in accordance with NRSWA and TMA.
We are looking for an exceptional person with strong organisational and communication skills.
Your role will be to undertake the inspection, recording and reporting of street works, highway infrastructure and surface apparatus defects in accordance with street works legislation and associated regulations and codes of practice and other relevant highways legislation.
You will also be required to ensure that all works on the highway are carried out in a safe and legal manner as required under NRSWA and that any breaches are addressed accordingly and to prepare evidence and witness statements against illegal activities.

You will be required to work Monday-Friday (9:00-5:00pm). This is based on a 6 month contract and the pay negotiable.
