Assistant Management Accountant / up to £34,000 salary / Permanent / Full-time / Hybrid working

Macildowie are pleased to be partnered with a
multi-national company based in Warwick who are looking to hire an Assistant Management Accountant to join their growing team on a permanent basis.


This role is a hybrid position where you will be able to
work from home 2/3 days per week.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting Project Costing by driving accuracy of financial reporting and forecasting for the company.

responsibilities below:


  • Responsible for the management of sales invoicing for projects
  • Ensuring budgets and customer orders are correctly set up on the system
  • Responsible for the integrity of spares reporting
  • Reconciliations of internal hours and reporting of Warranty
  • Review project costs to ensure integrity
  • Consult with and support internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy of monthly actuals, forecasts and estimates
  • Complete monthly management information with the current financial software & adhere to the financial reporting timetable
  • Increase cost awareness within the project teams
  • Improve and maintain systems and controls within the controlling area

Requirements:

Hold or actively studying for an accountancy qualification - preferably CIMA or ACCA:


  • Experience of management accounting preferably within a project-costing or engineering background:

Purchase Ledger experience - ideally with multi-currencies/multi-country processing:


  • Sales Ledger & Credit Control:
-
Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting:


  • High level of computer literacy
  • ideally SAP and Excel (at least intermediate):
  • Experience working with highly confidential information
  • Ability to work unsupervised, prioritising workloads, and meeting tight deadlines
  • Eligible to work in the UK
