The ED will have excellent facilities offering you a chance to work at the triage or in the rapid assessment and treatment zone as a Senior Decision Maker.

Or would you prefer to work in the adrenaline filled zone of the 6 bedded ER with a dedicated paediatric resus bay?

Rarely would you find a department that has a new isolation zone to assess and treat covid patients
- you would find that in our department, making it safe for you to work with such high risk patients.

Applications are invited on a full or part time basis to undertake this role.

You must hold at least 10 years post qualification experience in Emergency Medicine and hold full registration with the GMC.

You will be responsible for ensuring all patients receive rapid assessment, treatment and clinical decision making whilst ensuring quality and safety are delivered and sustained and undertake reception, resuscitation, diagnosis, and initial treatment of all emergencies as appropriate.

Working with the Nurse Coordinator you will ensure there is effective and timely communication between the clinical team, providing timely intervention and safe care to maintain optimal patient flow.

You will liaise with other (medical, surgical, orthopaedic, critical care) departments in the hospital and associated hospitals in the Trust network.
