Job Purpose:


  • The role of the Technical Administrator is to assist in providing administrative and technical support to the Technical Department and to ensure that the administrative inputs and outputs, including reports and data sets, meet the needs of the site strategy, all statutory obligations, customer requirements and our company policies with respect to food safety and due diligence_.
  • The role also includes developing and maintaining effective data management systems to ensure technical and operational integrity at all times._

Role Key Accountabilities

_QADEX Management:
_

- _logging and communicating complaints (early warning system of level 3 and trends of complaint types or BB dates) and checking invoices for customer complaints._
- _raising investigations on qadex in order to respond to customer complaints in a timely manner with support from the wider technical and operations team and recording when gift certificates have been sent_
- _Analyse reports off the QADEX system, as required._
- _Determine any emerging trendsd, or serious issues_


_Maintain all document control within the Quality management:_
- _Manage changes as required and ensure the information is agreed and signed by the person receiving it._
- _To implement all handovers accurately before launch._
- _To liaise with development and Finance to ensure all factory paperwork issued with all the required information and highlight where not available._
- _Manage document issuing to ensure compliance of the document control system._


_Technical Reporting:
_

- _Identifying and communicating trends of Technical KPI's._
- _Internal Audit results
  • QMS / GMP / Hygiene / Fabrication / Glass & Hard plastic / Belt Audits
  • Quality Panel
  • NCR_
- _Generation of weekly & period reports for technical function._
- _Generation of Customer KPI reports and business information packs e.g., & BUR Pack._
- _Checking and filing of certificates of analysis from suppliers and ensure retrievable during audit._
- _ad hoc information requests from customers and site team._
- _Support on traceability_
- _Complete routine mass balance audits and highlight any discrepancies_
- _Be part of the internal audit team._
- _Help prepare for audits and visits on site arranging room bookings, accommodation, food and drinks as required._
- _Checking packaging samples of new deliveries against print run reports and ensuring checked by technical and released on M3 in a timely manner._


Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

- _Previous experience_ within a similar Technical Role in a food manufacturing environment is desirable._
- _To be organised and methodical and ensure all tasks are completed accurately and to schedule._
- _Attention to detail and accuracy in completing task in a timely manner._
- _Excellent PC skills, including word and excel._
- _A knowledge of workplace would be an advantage._
- _When required provide accurate information in a timely manner._
- _To respond and update systems and procedure with any emerging issues._
- _To be proactive and drive change, and have ownership of tasks until completed._
- _Evident confidence in presentation, communication and negotiating with professional peer groups._
- _To build and maintain strong working relationships across the business._

- _To complete the site KPI accurately and complete to be reviewed by the Quality Manager, and site to site members._
- _To collate all information and accurately complete and schedule all customers KPI reports._
