They also provide clinical supervision and technical advice and troubleshooting. Management activities may include audit, incident investigation, pathway development or teaching.

In addition the successful applicant will be asked to line manage a small team, taking responsibility for staff development and appraisal, sickness and performance management.

  • To manage the full remote monitoring team; to include annual appraisal, staffing rotas, performance and sickness management, recruitment and selection and the supervision of students
  • To monitor standards of care and take appropriate action to maintain and improve them
  • To provide clinical and technical expertise and troubleshooting for the remote monitoring team and wider partners (such as onboarding teams in other trusts)
  • To assist in continued monitoring of patient experience and harm free care
