Main Purpose of the post:

To maintain a clean, attractive, secure and welcoming site through a process of regular cleaning and routine and scheduled maintenance of buildings, grounds, fixtures and fittings.
Have responsibility for the proper use and safekeeping of plant and machinery and have responsibility for the security and maintenance of the buildings and site.
To be able to investigate and think creatively to resolve unexpected problems as they arise.
To form part of the team of caretakers across the Trust sharing knowledge and skills and assisting other site staff and headteachers as necessary.
Your post will be based at Crabbs Cross Academy. However, you may be required to work at any of the schools within the Trust which are within a reasonable travelling distance of your home. Any mileage reimbursement will be made according to the Trust Travel and Expenses policy.
To ensure delivery of services and ad hoc projects both during term time and school holidays.
To utilise the school holidays to deliver maintenance projects such as decorating that cannot being achieved when staff and pupils are on site.
