An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sister / Charge Nurse to join our team of existing Band 7 team.

They will support the ED nursing team in the care of patients, management of a team of staff and will assist in the facilitation of the Trusts quality standards.

You will deliver quality and effective person-centred care by performing individual assessment of care needs, developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical treatment plans or pathways that meet the needs of the patient and their families/carers.

Our main goal at the WSH Emergency Department is to provide quality patient centred care, whilst striving as a team and as a Trust, to achieve the national ED targets.

In this post you will be our floor lead in achieving this set goal.

We have recently undertaken a major expansion project and we now have our own Majors Assessment Area.

This together with a Rapid Assessment Area means we can ensure we meet all our patients needs and ensure optimised service delivery.

It doesnt stop here We have a dedicated ED work force that includes Acute Clinical Practitioners (ACPs) and Emergency Nurse Practitioners (ENPs) who can see, treat and discharge their own patients, assisting the medical ED team in delivering excellent care.
