Flexible, ad hoc Cover Supervisors required to work in Croydon based secondary schools.

Tradewind have a large number of Croydon based secondary schools that urgently require ad hoc, Cover Supervisors to work on an intermittent basis across the school year.

Successful applicants should be available for day-to-day, short and long-term work for the Spring term commencing immediately in January 2023.

To excel as a Cover Supervisor, you will have an outgoing personality, excellent communication skills and exceptional classroom control and behaviour management.

It is essential that applicants have a proven track record managing a large group and must alsobe willing to work as part of a team.

The job roles include supervising whole classes during the absence of the teacher, responding to questions, assisting pupils in undertaking set activities and maintaining order.

Work is set for the class being covered. The cover supervisor must deal withany immediate problems or emergencies and manage behaviour by following the school's behaviour policy. The cover supervisor then reports back on the behaviour of pupils during the class, and any issues arising.

We are currently experiencing high demand for flexible, part time and full-time cover supervisor staff in Croydon.

We are therefore looking to recruit temporary cover supervisors who are ideally looking to build a long-term career in teaching and would liketo gain further school-based in the process.
