Main Purpose of Role


The Service Excellence Content Lead is responsible for raising awareness and improving the knowledge of our service excellence tools, including legal technology solutions internally and externally.


You will work with our Pitch Team and our Legal technologists to promote the benefits of using technology to augment service delivery to our global Clients.

You will lead the marketing plan, curate and manage content and promote good news stories internally and externally.

This includes award nominations and wins, case studies and testimonials to showcase the benefits of using technology or legal project management.

You will lead the communications plan for this covering mediums including LinkedIn, the Eversheds-Sutherland global website and internal comms channels.


You will also co-ordinate our calendar of activities with product teams to ensure we have clear, compelling and up to date information on our service delivery offerings, technology usage, key capabilities, and that the marketing collateral is regularly reviewed and kept up to date.


Primary accountabilities and responsibilities of the Role:

  • Develop and execute the marketing plan for service excellence. Developing leads, curating content to track and promote good news stories internally and externally.

    This includes award nominations and wins, case studies and testimonials to showcase the benefits of using technology or legal project management.

    Communication mediums include LinkedIn, the Eversheds-Sutherland global website and internal comms channels.
  • Builds excellent relationships within the Pitch Team, Marketing team, legal technologists and wider practice groups and International Operations teams, working collaboratively with them to understand the opportunities, requirements and challenges internally, externally and for our Clients.
  • Coordinates updates with the product teams to our service catalogue and technology marketing collateral, such as our client conversations app and internal intranet pages to ensure it is kept up to date and relevant.
  • Lead high value pitch responses where there is an opportunity to promote legal technology, professional legal project management or knowledge solutions.
  • Effectively manage responses to achieve time sensitive deadlines whilst keeping a focus on the long term wider strategic goals of the firm.
  • Work with the Pitch Team to promote use of tools to drive consistency and efficiencies when creating pitches, such as automation, chatbots and mobile apps.
  • Uses analytical skills to report on how we have proactively and positively influenced our clients and/or won pitches where legal technology/service excellence was included.
