Position can be based in either Munich or London.


To strengthen our global team, we are looking for a passionate and experienced HR professional to help build our global talent strategy and push boundaries with us.


As a member of the Global HR Talent team, you will help build a new and comprehensive global Strategic Workforce Planning capability.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to work internationally with senior leaders across all lines of business answering key questions regarding a strategic target picture and linking our goals to required skills and staffing needs.


In close collaboration with the global Talent Management and Talent Acquisition community, you set the quantitative and qualitative foundation for systematic people development and a strategic recruiting approach.


YOUR JOB:


  • Design and implement a comprehensive workforce planning framework in close partnership with Corporate Underwriting and Client Management
  • Drive the definition of a strategic Target Picture and connect the right set of stakeholders needed for creating state of the art development journeys and learning strategies
  • Lead initiatives to identify strategic workforce requirements and reveal critical talent gaps
  • Develop a qualitative workforce management approach based on our development philosophy.
  • In close cooperation with People Analytics and HR Operations teams, set the foundation for implementing HR data points required for ongoing strategic workforce modelling
  • Provide regular insight on complex workforce forecasts, covering headcount data, hiring forecasts, attrition, internal moves and succession pipelines
  • Identify and map skills that are crucial to Munich Re ́s strategic priorities

YOUR PROFILE:


  • Several years of relevant work experience ideally gained in a people analytics, organizational development/ psychology or an operational HR team
  • Strong data analytics experience working on business related global projects
  • Experience with implementing strategic concepts across a global organisation
  • Industry specific understanding of our core business activities and underwriting capabilities
  • Understanding of current technology landscape
  • Data driven decisions are close to your heart and you have the vision and digital knowledge to link numbers to meaningful deliverables
  • Enthusiasm for Learning and Development with a holistic understanding of the full Talent Management value chain
  • Good consultative, conceptual and executional skills
  • Help you to successfully work in intercultural teams to win over stakeholders around the globe
