Mobile Vehicle Mechanic Required


EFM Fleet Services are currently looking to recruit a Mobile LCV Technician to maintain a fleet of home shopping vehicles consisting of a mix of Mercedes Sprinters and Iveco Daily's.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager the Mobile Technicians are responsible for the repair and maintenance of vehicles in his / her area.

As a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic you will be responsible for;

  • Taking care of running defects
  • Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical defects
  • MOT preparations and presentations

Contracted Hours
Based on a 45 hour working week (6am - 3.30pm) Monday - Friday.

There is also a requirement to work alternate Sundays as part of the contract which will be paid as overtime.


Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

  • Fully qualified to City and Guilds (or equivalent) standard in light commercial vehicle maintenance,
  • At least 5 years' experience of working on light commercial vehicles preferably Mercedes or Iveco trained but not essential,
  • Must be able to work on their own initiative, managing their own workload, paperwork, and basic stock control,
  • Computer Literate.
