This role will be responsible for undertaking fabrication and assembly duties within our busy Fabrication Shop.

Including pipe cutting, plastic pipe welding, assembly, ductwork, packing, testing and general housekeeping whilst working closely with fellow team members.

Responsibilities:

• The safe assembly of fabricated items to a set timescale and quality.
• To pack and check that fabricated stock is available to meet order requirements.
• Stock and inventory management and updating using the XFour IT system as required for booking stock in and out.
• Ensuring that housekeeping of the Fabrication Shop is maintained to a high standard.
• To ensure regulations set out within the Health and Safety At Work Act are met.

Support:_ Offer support to the team where required to ensure the smooth running of the Fabrication Team.

Improvement:_ Work with the Fabrication Team Leader and team to identify areas for improvement within the Fabrication Shop environment so as to drive improvements and efficiencies throughout the business.

Flexible:_ To have a flexible approach to all duties in the Fabrication Shop and wider warehouse.

Detail:_ Practical with an eye for detail and repeated accuracy.


Qualifications and experience required for this role:

• Positive outlook and attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Practical hand skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills.
• Able to work with mínimal supervision.
• Work effectively as a member of a motivated team.
• Become competent in the use of XFour IT system within the scope of the job role.

Salary:
£11.00-£12.00 per hour

Experience:

• Fabrication: 3 years (preferred)
