Description

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a very well-known charitable organisation to work through their complex year-end process. The Year-End Accountant position will be on a 3-month basis with a possible contract extension. The role presents a great opportunityto build on your experience and knowledge within a friendly organisation.

The role will pay up to £45,000 and will be expected to work 1 day a week in their London office.

As the Year-End Assistant Accountant your role will involve:

Responsible for the daily and month account reconciliations
Identify settlement discrepancies
Input invoices onto the Unit 4 ERP system
Developing reporting to work efficiently and succinctly
Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled
Liaising effectively with other team members to ensure transactional processing is carried out accurately

The ideal Year-End Assistant Accountant will:

Ideally part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CIPFA)
Ideally have some experience of working in a charity with Charity SORP knowledge
Must have experience using Agresso or Unit 4 (essential)
Able to manage high volume of transactions in a fast paced environment
Experience of improving processes to increase productivity and efficiency
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders

This role will be a hybrid working opportunity with 1 day in their Central London office.
