As a Senior Residential Worker you will be supporting the Registered Manager to develop a brand new children's home for young people with learning difficulties and associated needs, you'll be undertaking the role of shift leading by supporting your colleaguesto provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment.
You will be a shift leader who oversees the activities whilst on shift, you will ensure the children and young peoples needs are central to all decisions made and opportunities for development are at the forefront.
We will actively support you in your role and provide you with regular supervision and training to support you personal development.
Essential personal requirements.Must possess level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent to be achieved within 2 years of taking up the post.
Worked in a care setting and developing positive relationships through trust.Ability to utilise a range of techniques to communicate with service users and their families.
Maintaining registration in line with the required bodies and ensure Action for Children are notified of any circumstances which could affect your registration status.
