Project Manager - Events & Exhibitions, Leicester, £35-45k
We are now seeking an experienced Project Manager who has a proven background in managing Exhibition and Events Projects.

As the main client contact, you will take ownership of all aspects of the project from initial enquiry, through to delivery and post projectdebriefs.

This will include scheduling, budgeting, and planning.

This is a great opportunity to join a warm and friendly team of professionals who pride themselves is providing their clients with a first-class service.

Due to the nature of the Industry you will need to be willing and have flexibility to work outside of conventional office hours when required and facilitate overtime including early mornings, late evenings and some weekend working, to include travel both inthe UK and overseas.


Responsibilities:

*Forge and maintain client relationships
*Take jobs from initial concept, design or brief to the final finished stand or event.
*Issue quotations to meet clients' specification and budget.
*Attend client meetings and ascertain requirements and potential budget limitations.
*Plan and organise production schedules.
*Conduct site surveys.
*Relay relevant project information to the client, the project team and departments involved.
*Liaise and work closely with the project support team in producing technical drawings.
*Select, order and purchase appropriate materials in a cost and time effective manner and ensure purchased/constructed items are of a high quality and fit for purpose.
*Control budgets to effectively balance cost, quality and profitability whilst maintaining high quality standards.
*Be aware of and implement all company Health and Safety policies and procedures.


Experience:

*Prior experience in event and exhibition planning and project management.
*Confident and able to effectively communicate written and verbally with internal departments, clients and suppliers on all levels.
*Attention to detail.
*Possess a good understanding of substrates and construction/manufacturing methods.
*Ability to understand design and working drawings.
*Experienced in using Microsoft Office, AutoCAD LT and Google Sketchup.
*Hold a valid passport and full driving licence.
