Assembler-Labourer - Burscough L JR - European Doorsets

Who we are:

We manufacture high quality bespoke timber doorsets and associated products to the construction industry covering the UK and beyond. We are based in Ormskirk and have been established for over 30 years. We supply to a number of market sectors including education, healthcare, mental health, commercial and residential.

The Role:

As the Assembler/Labourer you will be responsible for ensuring that goods are assembled according to the work instructions, which vary due to every project requiring bespoke products

Responsibilities:

· Interpreting work instructions with attention to detail

· Assembly of door frames

· Operating a drum sander

· Preparing frames for despatch

Skills & Experience:

· Experience operating woodworking machines in a joinery or door manufacturing environment

· Experience as a general factory labourer

· Experience in a warehouse preferred with a Forklift Licence

· Excellent attention to detail

· Good communication skills

· Professional and friendly manner

· Ability to multi-task over several projects

· Ability to prioritise

· Assistant sprayer experience preferred but not essential

· Some professional joinery experience necessary but full training will be provided
