We are a dynamic, energetic business in need of a passionate and enthusiastic Compliance Co-Ordinator to support our ever-growing business.

Each year we launch dozens of exciting new products, many of them first to market.

To do this well and to maintain our best in market quality, there is lots that must happen in the background.

We're looking for someone with the passion to not only protect our position but also drive us forward.


You will be responsible for continuing to deliver best in class systems internally at J&K, so we are leading the way in product quality, consumer complaints and compliance.

As our business goes from strength to strength, we must make sure that compliance continues to be at the heart of our growth.

You will report to the Technical Director yet must be able to work cross-functionally and respond to seasonal pressures across the business.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Live and breath quality. Be the gatekeeper for our complaints system, identifying trends and driving corrective action
  • Ensure all necessary steps between kitchen approval and first production are in place
  • Support the team in preparing for key meetings with customers and suppliers
  • Complete reports and scorecards for internal and external use
  • Lead the preparation of our annual supplier conferences, our platform for sharing best practice
  • Complete online specifications on different retailer platforms
  • Support our Product Development team in agreeing documented quality standards
  • Work alongside our manufacturing partners and Product Development team to obtain right firsttime cutter guides, print information and packaging specifications
  • Conduct routine store sampling of our products
  • Lead quality panels for all our products, then subsequently conduct analysis and trending of results, sharing the data with our manufacturing partners and suppliers
  • Where quality issues are identified, lead a project to drive improvement with our manufacturing partners
  • Assist our Development Team in delivering technically challenging projects, whether that's investigating new kit or sourcing unique raw materials
  • Maintain our product testing system, ensuring products are risk assessed and externally analysed accordingly
  • Where necessary, supervise first production or first packing runs

Salary:
£25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
