Osborne Appointments are looking for a Brake Press Operator for our client based in Letchworth.


Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday and Friday

Pay Rate:
£ £15.00 p/h dependent on experience

Job Duties or a Brakes Press Operator:

  • Experience in programming, setting and operating Bystronic, Promecam and Mebusa brake press machines
  • A full understanding of reading technical engineering drawings and assembling parts
  • A good understanding of sheet metal work processes and fabrication techniques
  • Check quality and dimensions
  • Stack/label and count parts against the labour paperwork before releasing to other departments

Person Specification of a Brakes Press Operator:

  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to sort and prioritise workload
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of materials
