What does the role involve?

Our Fleet Compliance Control Team play an important role in keeping our customers fleets safely on the road. Your core purpose will be to oversee the safety and compliance of vehicles in our fleet.

You will be able to utilise your technical knowledge and expertise, alongside providing first class customer service to ensure that all of our customers vehicles are roadworthy and legal.

Your role will involve assessing vehicle safety, defects and fault reports to identify when repair work needs to be undertaken.


Attendance of the Trowbridge office will be required for the - 4 weeks to ensure for robust training and to allow you to get to grips with the ethos of Novuna and how we work. Following training we operate a hybrid approach, whereby required attendance of the Trowbridge office is a minimum of 2 days per week.

Some of your key duties will include:

  • Utilising your technical background to prioritise and accurately categorise defects by analysing all information provided
  • Reviewing and authorising certificated defect documents
  • Supporting the team with technical queries
  • Ensuring all unapproved vehicles are followed up with repairers and rectified to maintain 100% compliance
What are we looking for?

You're someone who has a clear technical understanding of how cars and commercial vehicles operate.

You're a tenacious problem-solver with the ability to think on your feet and act promptly when it comes to making decisions.

You have a real sense of drive when it comes to getting things done promptly and efficiently and have a can-do approach to assure the customer is always being taken care of.


Also, we're looking for the following:

  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and make decisions quickly
  • IT literate and a quick learner when it comes to new systems
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, compliance and technical awareness
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
