City of London/ Hybrid
£65K + Bonus + Benefits

Business Analyst is sought to join the Digital Client Experience team of a buoyant financial services organisation.

Within this role you will work across the organisation's brands and businesses on an international scale to elicit requirements and createintuitive solutions and enhancements for internal users and external clients, delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

This role will also include elements of user testing and analysis to ensure systems/solutions are fit for purpose.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with and manage business stakeholders to gather, validate and iterate their requirements taking an active role in understanding core problem statements and business drivers, and ensuring that the overall solution design delivers against the strategicvision and benefits realisation plan
  • Provide sufficient detail within the highlevel requirements to facilitate initial estimation and sizing with the development team
  • Work with the Product Owner and development team to create user stories ready for development and define acceptance criteria and create test/ user scenarios with actionable metrics
  • Participate in core Sprint ceremonies as needed
  • Collaborate across the multidisciplinary team to deliver best in class products and/or iterations to existing products to meet both internal and external user needs
  • Proactively seek answers and convey complex ideas to the project team and business stakeholders as needed.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Business and technical systems analysis, gap analysis and requirements documentation (with a focus on expressing requirements and user needs within the agile framework)
  • Strong understanding of the digital product development process, ranging from requirements and idea inception through to development and execution
  • Understanding of the needs of an international B2B and B2C customer base
  • Experienced working with Agile methodology
  • Able to manage a variety of projects, stakeholders and evolving scope and prioritise appropriately
  • Ability to move seamlessly between the micro detail of requirement gathering and the strategic view of digital strategy
  • The ability to translate complex business ideas and processes into clear
- user-led requirements/ stories

  • User Centred design and problemsolving approach and methodologies (user journey experience desirable)
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities as well as excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to determine implications and make recommendations based on a range of factors e.g. commercial, risk, customer experience justified by data
  • A flexible and adaptive approach to selecting and using the best tool(s) for different tasks and goals
  • User testing methods and analysis to ensure systems are fit for purpose and behaving as expected
  • Working with lofidelity prototypes for the purpose of conveying and testing ideas
