This an all-encompassing role for a hands on Bookkeeper who enjoys managing their own workload and taking their own incentive to ensure work is completed to deadlines.

You will be completing the day to day duties within the finance department in a standalone capacity.


What will the Bookkeeper role involve?

• Reconciling payroll, prepared by an external company;
• Purchase Ledger duties, including processing invoices, matching purchase orders and delivery notes, payment runs;
• Sales ledger (not very busy), setting up new clients, raising sales invoices, taking payments;
• Minimal credit control, chasing outstanding payments;
• VAT returns;
• Managing weekly cash flow;
• Bank reconciliations;
• Dealing with petty cash;
• Ad hoc duties.
• Minimum of 2 years experience;
• Experience using Sage 50 and Microsoft Word and Excel is essential;
• Having previous working knowledge of VAT;
• Confident working in a standalone position;

This is an office based role working 16+ hours per week Monday to Friday. We can be flexible as to the hours of work.
