At AstraZeneca, we created the Commercial Digital healthcare delivery team to accelerate our efforts to drive and partner on solutions that enhance the ability for HCPs, patients and Healthcare Systems to deliver the highest quality of care, enable patients to maximize the value of their healthcare experience and for AstraZeneca to lead innovation in collaborations across Markets, Institutes and providers resulting in richer data collation and use, resulting in overall better care provision for the patients we serve.


As
Digital
Diagnostic Lead for Digital Precision Healthcare, you will drive the coordination with Diagnostics teams to develop and execute primarily big-data and AI based projects.

The position will be the main liaison between diagnostic stakeholders and external partners accountable for co-developing digital diagnostic solutions and will aim to ensure cross value creation.

It will leverage data, technology and state-of-the art scientific knowledge to address diagnostic unmet needs in accordance with our pipeline and new biomarkers to identify where digital can play a key role.

In this role you'll be working closely with the Value-Based Partnership team, in charge of identifying key partners in Clinical Decision Support solutions and Data.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Define, prioritize and drive strategic and scientific value creation of digital diagnostic solutions, acting as a product owner via the design of an optimal methodology to answer business owner requirements:

  • What? Design and implementation of innovative Digital Diagnostic tools to support HCP and HCO with diagnosis in Oncology and Biopharma.

How? Via the delivery of the infrastructure needed to execute actionable big-data analytics / AI in line with strategic, closed-loop marketing efforts (Customer, Consumer & Digital) across our Biopharma Portfolio (e.g., deployment and exploitation of care-oriented health data platforms and algorithms, development of AZ's innovation capacity-building, etc.). Align Digital Diagnostics tools to Precision projects where data can play a common cross-functional role.

  • In collaboration with the Value-Based Partnership team, identify and establish relationships with external vendors who have unique digital Diagnostic solutions
  • Action an analytical and critical perspective to challenge/optimize external partners proposed methodologies and contribute scientific insights on project development to maximize innovativeness, impact and alignment to business objectives.
  • Integration of internal and external stakeholder perspectives.
  • Setting up and coordination of multiinternal stakeholder collaborations to analyse business opportunities and evaluate/deploy solutions for a region / group of countries
  • Develop business intimacy with Business Owners and ensure regular communication on projects
  • Secure alignment with cross functional team's priorities and strategies (especially Diagnostic teams)
  • Liaise with affiliate teams to ensure local compliance and engage local operation support.
  • Guarantee project deployment from beginning to end:
  • Administer project budgets and manage contracts with key functions (compliance, legal, procurement, IP )
  • Oversee and track project operations, performance and timelines
  • Assess effectiveness and visible risk, opportunities, and issue management
  • Define the data and digital regulatory, legal framework.
  • Maintain a roadmap of all projects in the group using Digital Diagnosis solution
  • Align priorities with SPOK lead

Basic Qualifications:


  • Ability to work with all stakeholders to identify their requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge in Diagnosis in Oncology and Biopharma
  • Methodologies / Landscape
  • Data / AI solutions for Diagnosis
  • Medical / Scientific knowledge in Diagnosis (anatomopathological area, Biomarker detection etc )
  • Knowledge in compliance / Legal (Medical device, Data)
  • Substantial amount of experience digital healthcare project management
  • Track record in developing and deploying impactful healthcare digital program in diagnostic
  • Very good understanding information systems such as Electronic Medical Record, Clinical Trial Management, and Electronic Data Capture platforms.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented, and enjoy a highly collaborative working relationship that encourages sharing
  • Strong knowledge on International ecosystem (key stakeholders, healthcare system, actors, payers, compliance )
  • Proven experience in partnering and unlocking access to novel data partnerships
  • Understanding of the rapidly changing external environment including new innovative digital technology innovations
  • Involvement in startup environment (directly or in partnership)
  • Strong leadership skills and influencing skills
  • Experience on bringing innovation that is solving complex and multidimensional issues from an operational, technical, financial and human perspective
