Description

Schedule:
Tuesday to Friday to hours per week)

At The Housing Network we believe that when vulnerable people have a good home and a helping hand, they become more independent and less reliant on local authorities and that is exactly what we aim to achieve.

We partner with local authorities and other organisations and provide good quality, safe places for people to live.

We understand that each situation and resident is different, so we work hard to provide the right homes quickly that ensure each individual is looked after well.

And whether you need temporary, supported shared, or more specialist accommodation, all of our properties meet the same quality standards, are well looked after and have a 24/7 maintenance service that fixes problems day or night.

Job Overview:

Working to support our contract with the Ministry of Justice, this role involves assisting the day team to manage a number of self-contained and small shared accommodation properties
within the counties of Essex & Suffolk
(e.g. Chelmsford, Colchester, Ipswich) in respect of advising the residents how to manage a tenancy with specific focus on Anti-Social Behaviour.

In addition to providing proactive property management, the role involves engaging with residents (People on Probation) who may have complex needs/multiple disadvantages, on release from prison, with the goal of ensuring a smooth transition into the allocated accommodation and ongoing coping skills and appropriate behaviours to manage the placement.

The role includes an element of supervision to ensure house rules and license agreements are being adhered to, along with offering housing related support and signposting where needed.

While you will be part of a small regional team and a larger business, this role will be working alongside one other Enhanced Support Team Officer, travelling in a vehicle between identified locations.
