Financial Crime Advisory Lead for a
6 Month contract hybrid based in
London.



Job description - the role

Purpose of the Financial Crime Advisory Lead:

A chance to undertake the "Nominated Officer" role designated under UK Legislation for the reporting of Suspicious Activity Reports to UK law enforcement for BNP Paribas Trust Corporation UK Ltd to oversee day-to-day delivery of Advisory team technical complianceadvice covering the BP2S business line primarily and other Corporate Investment Banking business areas on Financial Crime regulatory compliance and industry issues, to promote compliance with Group Policy and UK regulatory requirements regarding AML, Sanctionsand other Financial Crime risk.


As a Financial Crime Advisory Lead,
you will be responsible for:

  • Training and Guidance
  • SAR Investigation and Internal Reporting
  • Other ad hoc responsibilities
  • Attending various committees and op cores around remediation project
  • Reporting and coordinating sanctions teams/freezing assets
  • Taking ownership of things/issues/risks and running them through to fruition
  • Taking lead and managing the issues not passing on escalations but dealing with them
  • Recommendations/ assessing risk in writing and laying out
  • MI in charge of production of MI thinking about what needs to be communicated to stakeholder and other colleagues
  • 5 years and more experience in Financial Crime Advisory role
  • Independent and ability to manage and communicate with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to take lead and ownership of escalations etc

Next steps

This client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
