ACHDS launched in 2018 to lead Aberdeen in the fast-moving research area of health data science.

Our core facility, the Grampian Data Safe Haven (DaSH), is Scottish Government accredited for processing health and care data and facilitates secure access to data for research and innovation.

The University of Aberdeen and NHS Grampian have a shared goal of improving the health and wellbeing of people living in Grampian (and beyond).

This requires co-ordinated and collaborative working across academia, the NHS, Local Authorities, Third Sector Organisations, and with local communities to ensure that our collective actions are evidence-based and targeted towards addressing the key public health challenges for our population.

The Grampian Public Health Research Network has been set-up recently to bring stakeholders and teams from the different sectors together to enable knowledge exchange and stimulate new collaborations and research aimed at tackling public health issues of local relevance.

This post will provide administrative support and co-ordination to ensure the success of the Network, organising events, and providing some administrative support for the Grampian Data Safe Haven.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 4 salary scale, (£24,285 - £27,929 per annum pro-rata) and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.

This post does not meet the minimum requirements for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route. We are therefore unable to consider applicants for this post that require sponsorship to work in the UK.
