Machine Operator Required.
We have an exciting new opportunity with our well-established client, based in Clacton-On-Sea.

They are a world class engineering company who manufacture precision machined components for a variety of industries including but not limited to:
Medical, Electronic & Aerospace. They are the market leaders in the design and production in engineering and technological innovations.

Due to their on-going growth, they now require an experienced Machine Operator to join their team.

The successful Machine Operator will be a conscientious individual, with previous experience in machining, who takes pride in their work and products they produce.


Machine Operator - Position Overview

  • Working with, and operating, machinery and processing equipment to required quality procedures, ensuring production schedules and customer expectations are always met.
  • Complying with Company Health and Safety rules and procedures to ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner
  • Maintaining equipment and report any defects for corrective action
  • Looking at process improvements to operate more efficiently to increase productivity and reduce waste
  • Producing high quality products which meet customer specifications
  • Being able to setup and produce a variety of products
  • Running of machinery, diecutting and inspecting the product
  • Improving efficiency and productivity
  • Meeting and exceeding KPIs
  • Completing relevant internal documentation

Machine Operator - Position Requirements

  • Able to understand and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience with gauging & inspection procedures
  • Underlying knowledge of metrology equipment & analysis
  • Previous experience working in a high tolerance manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge / previous experience on both Fanuc & Heidenhain controllers
  • Previous experience in machining plastics
  • Professional & loyal to the organisation, taking pride in what you produce

Machine Operator - Position Remuneration

  • Starting Hourly Rate: £11 per hour
