Workshop Controller - Greenhous PDI Centre, Stoke-on-Trent

Salary:
£30,000 per annum. Dependent on experience.

Hours of work:8.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday i.e. 42.5 hours per week. 30 minutes lunch (unpaid).

A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Workshop Controller at our Fenton PDI Centre reporting to the Technical Manager.

What you'll be doing:

Dealing with customers bringing their vehicle for recall, service or repair.
Providing feedback to customers on their service or repair, including pricing of additional work when required, explaining the reasons fully and competently.
Managing all staff within the department, communicating instructions to technicians and ensuring that work is completed in a timely manner.

What we need from you:

A working technical understanding of vehicles in order to clearly explain repairs or additional repairs to customers.
Customer service skills, including dealing with difficult situations and an ability to upsell our services and products where appropriate.
Strong IT skills.
Awareness of warranty guidelines, service intervals and other relevant information.
Be organised, efficient and able to multitask efficiently.
Be flexible, energised and a team player.
Previous experience in a similar role.
